He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jay Weaver and Edith Weaver (Simon). He is survived by: his wife Doris Weaver; his children, Kenneth Weaver of Meriden, Kansas, Phillip Weaver (Lynda) of Topeka, Kansas, Judy Moody (Rick) of Lakin, Kansas and Sheila Dees (Terry) of Hugoton, Kansas.; and his sister Lois Morelock of McDonald, Kansas.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robson Funeral Home - Hugoton (314 S Van Buren St, Hugoton, KS 67951). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hugoton Methodist Church (828 S Main St, Hugoton, KS 67951).
