With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nita Baker of Hugoton, Kansas, born in Liberal, Kansas, who passed away on May 27, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Baker; her daughter LuCinda Mantzke; her sister Nada Gail Deal; and her brother-in-law Robert Best. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lance Mantzke (Crystal) of Hugoton, KS, Tyler Mantzke (Casey) of Amarillo, TX, Amanda Elmore (Christopher) of Haslet, TX and Darcy Odean (Justin) of Fort Worth, TX; her siblings, Rebecca Claggett (Richard) of Amarillo, TX, Jacqueline Best of Pratt, KS and Otha "O. D." Littrell (Sylvis) of Hugoton, KS; and her brother-in-law Ronnie Deal, Sr. of Laverne, OK.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
