With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melody Witt of Hugoton, Kansas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Richard; her sister-in-law Doris Lynell Peek; and her grandparents, TJ, Ruby Engram, Leonard and Edna Louise Runnels.
She is survived by: her mother Virginia Ann Engram (Runnels) of Grapeland, Texas; her husband Jay Witt; her children, Sara Rheagan Witt of Ft. Worth, Rachel Madeline Witt of Hugoton and John Rowdy Witt of Miami, Florida; her siblings, Barry Engram (Rebecca) of Lorena, Texas and Lee Ann Engram of Temple, Texas; her brother-in-law Dr. B. Dan Witt (Sandra) of Hoisington, Kansas; and her grandchildren, R'Bree Madeline Witt and Ren Jackson Witt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
