It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary (Guerrero) Romero (Hugoton, Kansas), who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Guerrero and Manula Guerrero (Oliverez); her son Leo "Moe" Romero; her stepchildren, Andy Romero and Kathy Saldana (Roybal); her siblings, Joe B. Guerrero, Manuel Guerrero, Junior Guerrero, Rosie Sandoval and Elvira Medina; and her grandchildren, Mark Romero, Anthony Romero, Starla Irwin, Matilda Romero, Roman "Zinky" Romero, Susanne "Weedy" Romero, Brian Roybal and Dylan Roybal.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Romero (Margie) of Albuquerque, NM., Tommy Romero Sr. (Mary) of Hugoton, KS. and Nellie Garcia of Hugoton, KS.; and her stepchildren, Ernie Romero (Ernestine) of Raton, NM. and Evangeline "Van" Townsend of Kane, PA.. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for St. Helen Catholic Church of Hugoton.
