He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Willis and Cleora Nordyke (Greenwood); and his brother Robert Nordyke. He is survived by: his wife Carole Nordyke of Hugoton, KS.; his son Paul Nordyke (Shannon) of Hugoton, KS.; his grandchildren, Karessa Nordyke of Perryton, TX. and Austin Nordyke of Kechi, KS.; his siblings, Rodney Nordyke (Robyn) of Ulysses, KS., John Nordyke (Doris) of Colorado Springs, CO. and Pat Bishop (Les) of Leoti, KS.; and his siblings-in-law, Becky Nordyke of Wichita, KS. and Charles Oursler (Linda) of Grove, OK.. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established for Hugoton FFA Alumni.
