She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Munkres and Lucille Munkres; her husband Paul Nix; her granddaughter Holly; and her siblings, Janice, Bernice, Phyllis, Sue, Norma, Cleele, James and Robert.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Nix (Jolene) of Olathe, KS and David Nix (Kathy) of Hugoton, KS; her granddaughter Melissa Nix; her son Driscoll Nix (Shauna); and her sister Rosa Adams. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for Lone Star Friends Church, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
