With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenda Mae Lighty (Hugoton, Kansas), born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Alfonso Redd and Ida Mae Redd (Glover); and her daughters, Marla Jo Avery and Sonya Dianne Avery Cloud. She is survived by: her husband Paul D Lighty; her children, Greg Avery and Michelle Lewis; her grandchildren, Tonia Stuart, Tineta Powell, Aaron Avery, Amber Avery, Kaitu Lewis and Joshua Lewis; and her brother Bill Redd. She is also survived by ten Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild.
A memorial has been established for First Church of God, in care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
