Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Scherel Knier and Gertrude LaVaun Knier (Haight); his wife Naomi Knier (Decker); his daughter Denise Knier Leonard; and his sister Vonda Raney.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Knier Jr. (Tonya) of Hugoton, KS, David Knier of Hugoton, KS and Lori Carroll (Kelly) of Pampa, TX; his son-in-law Jan Leonard (Julie Hefner) of Goddard, KS.; and his brother-in-law Larry Raney of Hugoton, KS. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hugoton Methodist Church (828 S Main St, Hugoton, KS 67951).
In lieu of flowers; a memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
