It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Settlemyer (Hugoton, Kansas), born in Greensburg, Kansas, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dallan and Neva Fern Dallan (Donovan); her son Derek Glenn; her siblings, Charles, Mike, Tony Dallan and Betty LaCore; and her nephew Troy Cantrell.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Rylee; her son Casey Settlemyer (Beth) of Hugoton, KS.; her sisters, Judy Bagby of Holton, KS., Ginger Cantrell of Hugoton, KS., Barbara Dallan of Holton, KS., Cheri (Terry Kuehn) of Hugoton, KS. and Suzie Dallan of Omaha, NE.; and her granddaughter Sadie Mae. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In an effort to show her compassion and love for helping young children, including her granddaughters, a memorial has been established for Russell Child Development Center.
