Mary Ann Dinkel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ann Dinkel of Hoxie, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Dinkel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Porsch and Thresia Porsch (Koerperich) of Selden, Kansas.; her brothers, Norbert Porsch (Myrna), Donald Porsch and Francis Porsch (Leone); and her brother-in-law Stanley Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Dinkel (Deb) of Kearney, NE and Anna Marie Johnson of Hoxie; her grandchildren, Jordann Sewell (Thomas), Jonathan Johnson (Jessica) and Ben Dinkel; her great grandchildren, Wallace, Elowynn Sewell and Parker Johnson; her sister Ramona Shaw of Jennings; and also Jerry Dreiling of Hays. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (1906 Pine St, Hays, KS 67601). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for the Unify, Beautify, Glorify Campaign, Benedictine Mission House in Schuyler, Nebraska, or to the Sheridan County Benefit Walk.
