She was predeceased by: her father Ivan Elgin Ramsey; her husband John Kaus; her mother Fawn Ramsey (Wade); her daughter-in-law JoLinn Kaus; her siblings, Elgin, Danny Ramsey and Sharon Ramsey; and her brothers-in-law, Marvin Moritz and Ricky Broce.
She is survived by: her children, John Kaus, Margaret Corby (Eric), Juanita Erickson (Kenny), Marvin Kaus (Kerri) and Nick Kaus; her siblings, Victor Ramsey (Shari), Madeleine Moritz, Colleen Weaver and Myrna Broce; her grandchildren, Lindsey Noonan (Kenton), Kaylee Soderlund (Dakota), ShayLinn Zweygardt (Drew), Tyler Kaus (Kirsten), Braden Bieker, Ashlyn Kaus and Ivan Kaus; and her great grandchildren, Layton Noonan, Declan Noonan, Zander Zweygardt, Zeke Zweygardt, Zion Zweygardt, Tegan Soderlund and Chesley Kaus. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home (1024 Sheridan Ave, Hoxie, KS 67740). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.
Memorials in Marilyn's honor may be made to the Sheridan County Benefit Walk and sent to Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, PO Box 987, Hoxie, Kansas 67740.
