He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Thompson and Wanda Thompson (Karnes). He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marti" Fjelstad; his children, Doug Thompson (Jodi), Denise Owens (Chris) and Diana Thompson; his grandchildren, Nikki Rae Scheid, Macy Thompson, Rylee Thompson, Josie Thompson, Keilara Owens, Kaelyn Owens, Oliver Thompson, Autumn Thompson and Calvin Thompson; and his sisters, Shirley Davis (Don) and Carol Hanson (Scott). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home (1024 Sheridan Ave, Hoxie, KS 67740).
Memorials are suggested to the Hoxie High School Athletic Department, a cause Larry was passionate about.
