She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Shipley and Ella Shipley (Walden); her husband Dale Woofter; her children, Sherida Shoff and Carl Woofter; her granddaughter Hannah Woofter; her daughter-in-law Donna Jo Woofter; her siblings, Freda Shafer, Margie Minium, Gerald Shipley and Ross Shipley; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Transue, Howard Shafer, Bill Minium, Duane Woofter, Glenn Woofter, Maxine Shipley, Leah Woofter and Ethel Jean Woofter.
She is survived by: her children, Jay (Susan), Mike (Jennifer), Alan (Janeece), Walt (Eileen) and Sharon Lanning; her children-in-law, Dennis Shoff and Lee Woofter; and her sister-in-law Della Jean Shipley. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home (1024 Sheridan Ave, Hoxie, KS 67740). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hoxie Christian Church (1025 Queen Ave, Hoxie, KS 67740).
