He is survived by: his wife Flo of Hoxie, KS; his children, Michael Mense (Cheri) of Hoxie, KS, Maurica Gilliland (Michael) of Spring Hill, KS and Malia Mense of Overland Park, KS; his brothers, Tom Mense (Karen) of Grinnell, KS and Steve Mense (Vickie); his grandchildren, Allison Ebert (Matt), Ben Mense (Tori), Mackenzie Best (Heath), Nick Gilliland (Ashley), Layne Gilliland (Tanner Engweiler), Abriel Jarrett and Ryder Jarrett; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Luke Ebert and Felix Gilliland.
