She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest VanRoyen and Laura VanRoyen (Ferry); and her siblings, James VanRoyen, Kenny VanRoyen and Lola Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Walter; her sons, Curtis Carey (Sheri), Robert Carey (Karen) and Matthew Walter (Megan); her grandchildren, Austin Carey, Dalton Glass, Chaz Carey and Levi Carey; and her siblings, Russell VanRoyen and Rita Lee. She is also survived by 2 Great-grandchildren.
