He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Shelley and Voney Shelley (Denison); and his sister Debbie Macy. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Alice Kalene Brown (Eugene), Samuel Martin Redden (Doyce), Tonya Pree Shelley, James Chance Taylor III (Stephanie) and Tammy Lynn Boettjer (Steven); his grandchildren, Rochelle Messick, Travis Redden, Joey Redden, Jessica Hicks, Jolene Smith, Heather Knight, Bryce Hyde, Britani Wilson, Haleigh Fryman, Brandy Venskus, Brittany Brown and Derrick Brown; and his sister Cheryl Berry.
Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Michael to the American Cancer Society and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
