With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jan Kay Osborn of Howard, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Jan Kay is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Layton and Betty Layton (Sweaney); her husbands, Steve Gerkin and Jim Osborn; and her stepson Joe Gerkin.

She is survived by: her sister Peggy Juaire (Lee) of Severy, Kansas; her nephew Cody Juaire of Howard, Kansas; and her aunt Shirley Brown of Cedar Vale, Kansas.
