With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Debbie Jane Unruh of Howard, Kansas, born in El Dorado, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Debbie Jane left this world on November 6, 2024 at the age of 62, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Zongker and Betty Zongker (Brumback); her aunt Barbara; and her brother-in-law Harold. She is survived by: her husband Howard Unruh; her sons, Will Unruh (Kenna) of Howard, KS and Josh Unruh (Kodie) of Severy, KS; her grandchildren, Anna, Wyatt, Theo, Kasen, Hallee, Kennen and Declan; her sister Judy Zongker; and also Eddie Zongker of El Dorado, KS. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Howard (206 E Washington St, Howard, KS 67349). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Haldeman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Howard Library and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
