She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Smith and Donna Smith; her siblings, Sidney, Elilene, Betty Ann, Barbara, Carolyn, Sam, Dale and Roy Lee; her daughter Shelley Lowe (Roy); and her grandson Cody Carson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Thummel (Matt); her husband Kenneth Speer; her daughters, Sherrie Thummel (Matt), Marcia Speer and Sonya Latzke (Rodney); her siblings, Anita Miller and Steve Vessar; her grandchildren, Donna Bohnenkemper (Isaac), Heather Carson, Kenneth Lowe, Morgan Thummel, Mason Thummel, Harleigh Latzke, Alex Handke and Rhyleigh Latzke; and also, Eilene, Betty Ann, Barbara, Carolyn and Anita. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Muscotah Cancer Support Group and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
