She is survived by: her children, Terry of Horton and Dale Platt of Horton; her grandchildren, Levi, Bryce, Samantha and Jagger; her great grandchildren, Jeran, Kimber and Kyndall; her siblings, Richard Herrman of Westmoreland, Glenn Hermann (Bev) of Winchester, Tony Herrman (Cheryl) of Onaga, Jeannie Duncan of Manhattan, Diane Poston (Russell Nothdurft), Linda Miller (Frank) of Manhattan and Debra Childress (Donnie); and her son Lee Gordon (Cathy) of Horton.

Memorials may be made to the Shirley Platt memorial fund and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary, 909 Central Ave Horton, Kansas 66439.
