It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Marie Winkelbauer of Horton, Kansas, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Schuetz and Josephine Burkart Schuetz; her spouse Aloysius E. Winkelbauer; her siblings, Harland, Leon, Raymond, Clement, Lloyd Schuetz, Lillian Williams and Genevieve Armstrong; her grandsons, Bradley Winkelbauer and Sean Robinett; and her son-in-law Deril Hosford.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline Hosford of Wichita, Beverly Robinett (Larry) of Kansas City, Missouri, Wayne Winkelbauer (Patricia) of Wichita and Thomas Winkelbauer (Sharon) of Leavenworth, Kansas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
The family is requesting that all attendees to the mass and rosary please wear a mask.
Memorials may be made to the St. Leo's Catholic Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
