She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Whitewater and Annie Raye Vaughn Whitewater; her husband Demeico "Mitchell" Castro Sr.; her brothers, Gene Reynolds, Ivan "Bobby" Whitewater and Jerry Whitewater; and her granddaughter Ellen Keo.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Ann Whitewater (Rudy Keo), Toney Robles, Demeico Castro Jr. of Horton, Anthony Castro, David Castro (Susie Castro) and Jason Whitewater Shopteese (Johanna); and her sisters, Georgia Staffos and Katherine Embley. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren.
