She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Dowty and Ruth Ann Watson; her brother Marion Watson; her daughter Charlotte Jones; and her granddaughter Charity Shackelford.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Mullen of Essex, Patricia Myers (Lewis) of Denton, Larry Jones (Georgie) of Hiawatha and Delores Shirley (Joe) of Horton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's or Children's Mercy Hospital and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
