He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herman and Ethel Magdalena Crumbly Earp; his spouse Shirley Jean Lash; his sons, Richard Earp (Rick) and Russell Dean Earp; his grandson Ryan Earp; and his siblings, Virgil Earp and Donna Hodshire.
He is survived by: his children, Adena Toms (Gordon) of Atchison, Kathy Camblin (Don) of Everest, Steve Earp of Kansas City and James McClanahan (Joan) of Kansas City, Kansas; his sister Wilma Belle Kuckelman of Keokuk, Iowa; and his daughter-in-law Carla Earp of Basehor, Kansas. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
