She was predeceased by: her parents, Donaciano Cortez and Francisca Landin Cortez; and her siblings, Isabel Cortez, Bernard, Tony and John Cortez.
She is survived by: her husband Ervin Kimmi; and her siblings, Rita Vasquez (Carlos) of Antioch, Julia Rocha of St. Joseph, Missouri and Fermin Cortez (Vicky) of Rock Island. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the St. Leo's Catholic Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
