He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. and Frances May Lewis Middleton Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Judith E. Piper; and his children, Deanna Middleton-Frock (Kelly) of Humbolt, Iowa, Joseph Middleton III (Leta) of Horton, David Middleton (Janet) of Horton and Daniel Middleton of Sioux City, Iowa. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren and thirty eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Joe Middleton Jr. memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
