It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Houston Hobbs of Horton, Kansas, born in Powhattan, Kansas, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse E. Hobbs and Katherine Munsey Hobbs; and his wife Lucille Earp. He is survived by: his children, Shirley Griffin (Bob), Debra Lowe (Tom) of Wichita, Floyd Hobbs (Judy) of Colorado Springs and Chuck Hobbs (Gwen) of Le Compton, Kansas; and his brother Larry Hobbs of Naches, Washington.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great grandsons.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church and maybe sent in care of the mortuary.
