Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gregory John Ramirez of Horton, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 97, on November 27, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bicente Ramirez and Monica Rojas Ramirez; his wife Evelyn Jeannotte; his daughter Gloria Meerpohl; his son-in-law Mitch Battese; his siblings, Patricia Ortez, Mary Ortez, Antonio Ramirez, Aristeo Ramirez, John Ramirez and Tony Ramirez; and his grandson Nathan Cortez.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Battese of Lawrence, Barbara Tucker (Jim) of Baldwin City, Mona Cortez (Chris) of Horton, Marlise Wilson (Kenny) of Horton, Kansas, Steve Ramirez (Carla) of Lawrence and Vincent Ramirez (Stefanie) of Casa Grande; and his son-in-law Mike Meerpohl of Holton, Kansas. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
The family requests to please wear masks and practice social distancing.
