He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Armstrong and Leone Ingels Armstrong; and his sister Donita Newins. He is survived by: his sisters, Anna Stelter (Darrel) of Blaine, Brenda Graham (John) of Topeka and Karen Bunck (Mike) of Everest, Kansas; and his brother-in-law Jim Newins of Topeka. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
