He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd C. Gibson and Cuma L. Johnston (Richardson); and his brothers, Sheldon and Mark Gibson. He is survived by: his son Gary L. Gibson II (Tammy); his stepson John M. Imlay (Katie); and his caregivers, Eileen Weathermon and Jon Begnaud. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that a donation be made to Shriners Hospital for Children and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
