Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Mary Runyan Sale; her husband Ross Raymond Smith; her siblings, Dixie Mitchell, Keith Sale, Jake Sale, Lloyd Sale and William Sale; and her great grandchild Lincoln Ross Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Ross Smith (Regina) of Louisburg and Richard Dean Smith of Kansas City, Kansas. She is also survived by two grandsons and one great grandson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary (909 Central Ave, Horton, KS 66439). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
