She was predeceased by: her husband Deane; her stepmother Vina; and her brother Bill. She is survived by: her children, Ryan (Danielle), Charlie, Sam, Sullivan, Kathleen, Mackenzie, Carson, Mason and Randy (Connie); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Joey), Beau Deane and Cooper; her children, Blake (Kendra), Addison, Brooklyn, Carley, Kamryn and Mark (Tambra); her grandchildren, Mark Jr. and Katherine; her son Darren; her grandchildren, Brent (Kayla) and Hadleigh; her children, Rafe, Emmerleigh, Cole (Machaela), Sophie and Eliana; her grandchild Annika; and her sister-in-law Linda Burgert.

Any memorial contributions may be made to Emily Thorson memorial and please designate either Zion Lutheran Church or Cancer R.I.P medical debts and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary who is in charge of arrangements.
