She was predeceased by: her parents, John M Shivers, Sr. and Bessie Derrel Cowley Shivers; her husband Dallas Kurtz; her son-in-law Doug Wilson; her granddaughter Greta Painter; and her siblings, Lester Shivers, Viola Spiker, Opal Shivers, Virginia Meerpohl, Ada Spiker, John M Shivers, Jr., Sarah Shivers and Lois Puvogel.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Painter (Ann), Deanna Wilson and Sara Gragg (Jeff).
