It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Allene Swendson of Horton, Kansas, born in Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Allen White and Elsie May White (Bowser); her brothers, David White and Donald White; and her son Gerald Lee Swendson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Bailey (Mark) of Lakeside, CA, Dale Swendson (Karen) of Muscotah and Mike Swendson (Jodie) of Holton; her grandchildren, Sarah, Allison Bailey, Cale, Trace Swendson, Aaron, Lindsay Chapman, Caleb, Josiah and Rachel Swendson; and her great grandchildren, Malakai, Isla and Emmett.
Memorials may be made to the Muscotah United Church and maybe sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary.
