With solemn reverence, we commemorate Chris Eugene Gartner of Horton, Kansas, whose life came to an end on February 2, 2025 at the age of 57, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gartner and Lita Sue Gartner (Chandler); his siblings, Steve Gartner, Kent Gartner, Dan Gartner, Terry Gartner and Janice Lowe; and his brothers-in-law, David Bauerle and Donald DuBois.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Blanton; his children, Jessica Rahe (Zach), Emily Gartner and Connor Gartner; his stepchildren, Katie Purvis (Eric) and Lukas Blanton; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph, Samantha and Maverick Purvis; his sisters, Cindy DuBois and Tammy Campbell (Tony); his brother-in-law William Lowe; his in-laws, Scott, Patricia Andrews, Rhonda May (John) and Kristie Sigle (Richard); and his pets, Bailey, Sassy and Chevy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eternal Life Eternal Hope Worship Center (410 E Iowa St, Hiawatha, KS 66434).
