She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan G. Engle and Winifred Ruth Engle (Kleopfer); her husband Gerald K. Mounkes; and her siblings, Carmen, Corinne, LaDonna and Mike.
She is survived by: her sons, James R. "Jim" Christian (Maria) of Olathe, KS and Richard L. "Rick" Christian (Dana) of Lee's Summit, MO; her siblings, Glenda Tompkins of Salina, KS, Cathy Schaben of Lincoln, NE and Max Engle of Emporia, KS; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Barnhart (Norman) of Topeka, KS, Anne White (Christian) of Hendersonville, TN and Vicki Patterson (Christian) of Hendersonville, TN; her grandchildren, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Alison and Brianna; and her great grandchild Arielle.
Donations may be made in her name to the Keith Worthington Chapter of the ALS Foundation or to the Mt. Pleasant Community Church, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home.
