He is survived by: his wife Kris; his children, Jacqueline S. Soptic (Warren) of Trenton, MO and John D. Persell (Paula) of Herington, KS.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Soptic, Jenny Soptic Lewis and Lacey Persell Srna; and his great grandchildren, Cole Soptic, Jackson Lewis, Bennett Dawson, Kennedi and Kai Srna.
