It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter Wright of Holton, Kansas, born in Plevna, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 84, on November 7, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wright and Otillia Wright (Nusser); his sisters, Kathy Vaughn, Evelyn Davisson and Morene Hamilton Havercraft; and his granddaughter Carly Suzanne Wright.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Dolores Cranston; his sons, Stacy Wright (Becky) of Farmington, AR and Shannon Wright (Robyn) of Holton, KS; his grandchildren, Ty Wright (Tyler), Jaxon Wright (Sarah), Will Wright, Trey Wright, Nick Ellis and Paige Warren (Brennan); his great grandchildren, Whitt and Rhett Wright; and his sisters, Norma Tucker (Chuck) of Hutchison, KS and Gloria Bartley of Haven, KS. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Holton Touchdown Club or Holton High School Volleyball c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
