He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack M. Wilson and Calvena R. Wilson (Sloyer); his brother Marvin Wilson; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Elevier and Mike Stanwix.

He is survived by: his wife Vicki M. Cowan; his grandchildren, Hailey (Nathan), Damien, Colin, Kennedy (Devin), Coby, Kylie, Jack and Hank; and his great grandchildren, Joslyn and Rohan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
