It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mervin L. Bartell of Holton, Kansas, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene H. Bartell-Bryan and Lillian Y. Bartell-Bryan (Roseman); his son Kurt M. Bartell; his sister Vicki Weller; and his brother-in-law Don Weller.
He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle Elaine Anderson; his children, Tharen L. Bartell (Terry) of Ozawkie, KS and Jill R. Benedict (Charles) of Tecumseh, KS; his siblings, Helena "Tootie" Meyer of Valley Center, KS, Annie Bourland of Newton, KS, Susie Bryan of Roseburg, OR, Mike Bryan of Topeka, KS and Louie Bryan of Colorado Springs, CO; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Kayli and Jordan.
