She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Jensen and Myrtle Jensen (Hubbell); and her brothers, Arthur and George. She is survived by: her former husband Calvin King; her daughter Ann Wassenberg (Phil); her granddaughter Charis Barth (Clifton); and her great grandchildren, Corban, Miriam, Verity and Honora. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Marion wanted her body donated to KU Medical Center for research and teaching and requested no funeral.
