He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Austin and Maudie Goad Austin; and his brother-in-law Richard Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Karla Kay Allgeier; his sons, Michael Austin (Stacey) of Kansas City, MO and David Austin (Jackie Lynn); and his grandchildren, Lucian and Zoe Montgomery.
