She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lewis K. Leonard, Sr. and Emma Melvena Leonard (Burris); her former husband Jay L. Knox; her children, Whitney Coverdale (Jeff) of Holton, KS, Lindsey Knox of Prairie Village, KS and Jeff Knox (Mindy) of Downers Grove, IL; and her brothers, Lewis K. Leonard, Jr. (Sondra) of Olathe, KS and Garry Leonard (Joyce) of Sandy, UT. She was also cherished by 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
