He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Ramey and Dorothy Helen Gruver (Carrick); his wife Diane Hood Elson; his daughters, Deb Gruver (Josh Wood) of Wichita, KS and Kim Grasser (Kenny) of Garden City, KS; and his siblings, Shirley Spence (Steve) of Wilmington, NC and Ted Gruver of Bel Air, MD. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
