He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene A. "Gene" Sawyer and Lucille E. Sawyer (McKim); his wife Janine Sue Arnold; his children, Michael Sawyer (Korey) of Holton, KS and Kelli Larson (Eric) of Maple Grove, MN; his siblings, Sharon Bowser (Allen) of Holton, KS, Terri Morris of Holton, KS and Jerry Sawyer (Deb) of Ft. Collins, CO; and his grandchildren, Landon Sawyer and Allison Larson. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Holton Cemetery (11999 Highway K16, Holton, KS 66436).
