He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin J. Steffes (Steve) and Helen Levy Steffes; and his brother Jack J. Manning. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kins of Holton; his son Scott A. Steffes of Netawaka, Kansas; his grandsons, Grant E. Steffes of Netawaka and Jacob W. Steffes of Frankfort, Kansas; and his sister-in-law Pat Manning of Surprise, Arizona. He is also survived by Cousins in Nebraska, and Arizona; nieces and nephews.
