She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Rankin and Delphia A. Rankin (Loesing); and her brother Robert Rankin, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Edward "Ed" Buck; her children, Beth Sasnett (Tim) of Lansing, KS and Steve Buck (Janell) of Soldier, KS; her siblings, Judy Hawley of Independence, MO and Bill Rankin (Kay) of Elkland, MO; and her grandchildren, Crystal, Cameron, Caitlyn, Caullen, Jessica, Jill, Josie and Jennifer. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Bethel Neighborhood Center (in Kansas City, KS) or Topeka Rescue Mission c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
