She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gilkison and Louise Gilkison (Ebbrecht); and her siblings, Jacqueline McConnell, Sarah Clark, Thomas and Richard Gilkison.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Barnett; her children, Melissa Frost (Greg) of Lawrence, KS, Alan Barnett (Kathy) of Arrington, KS, Arthur Barnett of Lenexa, KS, Andy Barnett (Sheryl) of Valley Falls, KS and Aaron Barnett (Erin) of Lee's Summit, MO; and her sisters, Wanda Nelson (Marion) of Phoenix, AZ, Marietta Kout of Hiawatha, KS, Faith Smith of San Mateo, CA and Barbara Chase of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
