We bid farewell to Betty J. Moser of Holton, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 16, 2025 at the age of 97. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Decker and Blanche Decker (Hinman); her daughter Connie Schlodder; her son-in-law Alan Schlodder; her stepmother Lorene Decker; and her stepbrother Richard Evers.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Kyle Schlodder (Crystal) of Holton, KS, Johnathan Schlodder (Kristel) of Holton, KS and James Schlodder of Holton, KS; her nieces, Pam and Debra; her stepdaughters, Colene Gutierrez of Holton, KS, Lorene Gakle of Holton, KS, Kathlene Welch of Aurora, CO and Marlene Bizub (Mike) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Strahm, Sabetha and Myrna Evers of Washington State. She is also survived by 4 great-granddaughters; 4 great-grandsons, 3 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mercer Funeral Home (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Holton Cemetery (11999 Highway K16, Holton, KS 66436).
