She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vierthaler and Alice Vierthaler (Cordes). She is survived by: her husband Roy; and her children, Derek (Amy Browning), Josh (Taney Browning) and Sumer (Anthony Nichols). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
